Our inspiration for Seagrove comes from the distinct unique and charming character of seaside villages, such as Watercolor & Seaside, FL., Daniel Island, S.C., Habersham, S.C., Bald Head Island, N.C., Useppa Island, FL., and other traditional neighborhood developments throughout the Southeast. Photos of some of these communities appear in this code. In terms of character, the architecture and community feel will be reminiscent of development from decades past and yesteryear. The streetscape will once again become a means to facilitate safer pedestrian circulation thus lessening the impact and necessity of the automobile. Alleyways will be vital to creating this historic streetscape character. They will allow garages to be de-emphasized and increase safety on the sidewalks.  Ultimately, alleyways will benefit all Seagrove residents by providing an innovative and proven example of how to increase pedestrian safety and aesthetic appeal on a residential community. Additionally, more aesthetic opportunities will be available at the street, creating a very unique scenic neighborhood.
